Chapter 25: Virtual War

Describe the many thoughts going through Judson's mind and/or feelings that Judson was feeling in this chapter.

  1. Some of the thoughts going though Judson's mind was : " If I lose the game, I knew , my presidency would be a failure ", I also felt like a idiot ." So that means that he was under a great pressure .

  3. 1.One of moon feelings was that he was going to lose the really game because he lost the pratice one. 2.Another one of moon feelings is nevice because he dose not now how to play this game.

  4. Judson was feeling that he wasn't as good as when he wasn't president because he hasn't played when he was president and he said himself "I'm a little rusty. He also said that he felt pressure because America was on the line because if it didn't go well America might be in poverty.

  5. He was scared and worried and he felt stupid because Trujillo tricked him into doing something he didn't know how to do.

  6. 1)Judson thought that when he played his dad in video games he thought he was totally pathetic. He probably thought that he could easily beat Trujillo. The very last sentence in the end of the chapter was "Hit the reset button", I said tersely" He thought his situation was hopeless.

I think that one of the thoughts that was going through Judson's head was the fact that he really didn't know what to say to Trujillo when he walked in and that he didn't know how he would react when the words came out of his mouth. He was also feeling scared and nervous about meeting him in an empty room with just the 2 of them. Here are two examples, "I never heard of that game" Judson said, and another one, "Have you played this game with your son?" Judson said. "For many hours" he replied. Also in the book it said that he was rusty at playing video games because of all of the work as being president.

  8. He was thinking that if he can beat his dad in video games then he can beat Trujillo in one. He also was saying that he felt like an idiot because Trujillo had tricked him into playing a game that he did not know how to play.

  10. What was going in Judson's mind was like "I can beat him on the video games because I play with my dad and he is pathetic so I can beat Trujillo. Judson was feeling confident,scared and nervous.

  13. President Moon felt tricked because he thought Trujillo had programed the game to make Cantania win.
    President Moon also felt scared that he might let the U.S down and let Trujillo win.

Moon was feeling cheated in this chapter because he never played world war four before and he didn't even have time to send out any nuclear missiles or bombs because Trujillo kept sending bombs and missiles so Moon had to block the missiles and bombs so then he couldn't send anything out and he still lost because Trujillo kept sending bombs at him and that made Moon mad.

  17. Moon wanted to play a warm-up game and got beaten from the misiles. Moon began to get angry when he started loosing. He was eager to start a new game. I would like that game, I think I would be good at the nuke game.

  18. He was thinking what if he loses he new his presidency would be a failure and that the newspaper would ruin him and eat him alive and that he felt incredibility to win and felt like and idiot.

  19. Judson was feeling he was going to lose the game. He worried Trujillo would send bombs in the game and he couldn't stop them.

  20. Judson was feeling scared and worried. He was scared because he was about to play a video game and if he loses the United States might go into war. He's scared because if he loses the United States will go into war and he'll be yelled at, hated, and made more fun of then ever before.

  21. Judsons thoughts were that when he started the game that he was helpless because he would go to protect one state then another state was blown up and also felt bad that if he lost he would put in danger many innocent Americans.

  22. He was feeling worried/nervous because he wasn't sure how Trujillo would react to his plan. I think he also felt skeptical because her wasn't sure if he could trust Trujillo. Here is something from the book that led me to think that:

    I kept going over what I was going to say to Trujillo.

    Normally, when you go over something again and again, that means you're nervous.

  23. Judson was feeling scared and nervous. He was scared and nervous because he sees that Trujillo is a good player and Judson is thinking that he is going to lose and that the citizens of America are going to hate him.
