1) As you read chapter 17, look for ways that Chelsea, the first lady, changed.
Give examples of how she changed.
2) Do you think it is possible for someone to change that quickly?

1) Well when she walked into the Oval Office she was wearing old gray sweatpants with a rip in one of the knees, had on cheap flip flops, and a University of Florida t-shirt. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail, and she wasn't wearing any makeup. She also actually cared about the people.

3) Well I think that she did come back genuine, but I thought that she would come back in new designer clothes.
I agree. I didn't expect the change to be so drastic, even if there was one.

Chelsea changed by giving ALL of her clothes away to the people in Florida who had a hurricane and did not have homes or clothes or food and water. She also changed by dresses. She dresses like she is one of the laziest people on Earth. I don't think that it is possible for a person to change that fast because, if someone was trying to change, I think that it would take a hearty month or more. I do not think that her change is real because, like I said, fir someone to change, I think that it would take a hearty month for that to happen. If I were Chelsea, then I would at least dress a little more decent than she. If that were the case, then I would tell Moon that was what I was doing then.

ReplyDelete1. She changed by: starting to actually care about something other than clothes and parties. She also changed by donating ALL of her clothes to the people in Florida.

3. Also yes. She was wearing sweatpants and her hair was in a ponytail. Those are two of the many things she would never have even thought about before she went to Florida.
I agree a lot of people dont even care about people that need help.
DeleteWhen she came back she dressed in rages and she used to spend thousands of dollars on her dresses. No I dont think anyone can change so quickly. No I dont think her change is real because she was a little greedy I think and now she is super kind, so no I dont think her change is real.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely Drake. If someone is going to change, then they should not take such a short time to change. I also thought, Drake, that if Chelsea is going to give all of her clothes away, then she should dress a little better then what was said in the book.

ReplyDeleteI like the way she changed into a new person and instead of buying clothes she was buying things to help the people in need. I think someone like her can change real fast but usually it takes something really important and in this situation it's people without homes. I don't think she's faking it but if she is for what reason is it?
ReplyDelete(1) One way that she changed is her clothes,hair,she carded about the people the lived though the hurricane.(2) I think yes because she saw things that are really sad and she held babies in her arms who"s mom and dad died in the hurricane. (3) I think that it was real because of the way she was dressed and she did give all her cloths away to the people who lived though the hurricane and if she was faking it she would not have done that for those people.

I do think her change is kinda genuine and it's kinda not. I think she has changed a little but not completely and not forever.
She changed A LOT because when she came in the oval office dressed in rags and flip flops . Yes I believe that a person can change like because when you see something awful like that at least a little bit of you would change . Yes I think that that she change is genuine but maybe only for a little while.....
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion she changed drastically, she changed her style and instead of keeping her clothes she gave them away, instead of buying things for herself she bought things like food, diapers, emergency medical supplies, books, crutches and wheelchairs for the people in need of those things (specifically the hurricane victims in Florida.)

1:She could stay this way and help the people a lot.
2:She could change back to her drama queen self as fast as she changed
the first time.
I think that she will do the right thing and keep helping them because she changed a lot in a little bit of time it must have been an experience (not necessarly a good one) to change her that quick.

3)I think she was genuine about the clothes because she LOVES designer clothes and she probaly didn't want to give it away so she hid the clothes in her closet.

ReplyDelete1)Chelsea changed after the visit from the Florida hurricane and she realized that the people there were suffering and she thought that when ever she would get in to trouble it would be like her hole life is mest up and the worst life ever and when she entered the oval room she was wering old gray pants and cheap flip-flops and her hear was pulled back in a poney tail and was wering a university of Florida T-shirt.
ReplyDelete2)It could be posible if what ever happened like the hurricane in Florida and somebody wen't to go see it and they realized that they think they have it hard think of them porr people and kid's who have nothing and of all the memorys that they lost in that hurricane so she finale realized that she dosn't need all that fancy stuff and it could be temporarily for a littel bite then she'll realize that isn't more importanted then my clothes.3)I thought that she came back genuine and i thiught that she would come back saying that it was boring and that it wasn't more importante than she was.

The first lady changed when she came back from Florida she sold her cloths and wanted to buy dippers for people who lost there stuff in the hurricane and cloths.
