Chapter 16: Mumbo-jumbo

1)  Tune into words.

Follow the steps:
a) From the chapter find a word that you did not know/ a challenging word.
b) Tell how it was used in the chapter.
c) Look up what the word means and apply it how it was used in the book.

2)  How did Vice President Syers want to solve the problem of the economic downswing?  Do you think she had a good idea?  Explain why/why not.

Chapter 15:  More Disaster Areas

 

1) Why can't Judson, being President, close down the newspapers?

2) How was Chelsea going to help the hurricane victims in Florida?  Is that a good idea?  Explain your thoughts.
